A little about me

Slipper is a sweet lady who enjoys playing with toys and splashing around in a paddling pool. She has come from a multi dog household, hoarding situation, so whilst she has lived in a house before she hasn’t experienced home life and a normal routine. She has come on a long way whilst at Woodside. We are working on building her confidence and teaching her how to cope with things like handling, grooming, new things and places. This will also need to be carried on in a new home and may take her a while to adjust. Slipper is looking for owners who are kind and patient, and who will help her to continue to learn and adjust to living in a home environment. In order for her to build a bond and trust, Slipper will require multiple meets at the centre with any potential owners. She is also on medication to help with her anxiety and this will need to be carried on in the home. Our resident vet and behaviourist will liaise with Slipper’s new owner to decide if she needs to stay on the medication or if she can be weaned off it gradually. Slipper needs to be the only pet in the home and can live with children aged 16+.
