A little about me

Lila is a happy girl in her kennel routine because its predictable with people she knows and trusts. We are trying to help Lila learn ways to cope in a home environment, training to settle on a mat, crate training and feeling better if her person goes out of sight. Lila is also worried about being in the car and travelling so daily work is being done to help her feel better about this. Lila is worried around new people but once she knows you she is a firm friend. We are muzzle training Lila so if out in public she is given the space she needs. Lila is also on medication to help her generally with anxiety and coping in new surroundings. She will need to go home on this medication and may need to stay on it long term. Our resident vet and behaviourist will liaise with Lila's new owner to decide if she needs to stay on medication or if she can be weaned off it gradually. Lila will need an adult only/only pet home. She is a smashing dog that really deserves a chance at home life.
